These terms and conditions are for everyone to have a great holiday and not to be regimental just respect for all concerned.
We do not accept large single sex groups, stags and hens and if rooms are booked for groups or stags and hens they will not be accepted on arrival. We also do accept under 18's unless accompanied by an adult.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE CROFT
AN INFORMATION BROCHURE IS PROVIDED IN YOUR ROOM FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE
1. DEPOSIT: A deposit of £30.00 per person is required to secure booking or 1 night. Your deposit in non-refundable for any reason whatsoever. ALL our room prices are based on at least 2 adults sharing.
2. PAYMENT: The balance is due on arrival by cash or credit/debit card (sorry we do not take cheques), credit cards are charged at a rate of 3% per transaction and 30p for debit card. For stays of 5 days or more and Bank Holidays the outstanding balance must be paid 14 days in advance.
3. CANCELLATIONS: In the event of cancellation you must give at least 14 days notice in writing, prior to your holiday commencement date. We make every effort to re-let the accommodation; however you are liable to pay the remaining balance, which will be taken from the card that secured the booking. All rooms and/or numbers of persons that are booked are liable for payment. We strongly recommend you take out holiday insurance.
4. ARRIVAL: Guests are requested to notify us of late arrival. 10pm is latest check in time.
5. ARRIVAL TIMES: Rooms are available from approximately 2.00 pm on day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.00 am on day of departure. Out of season for those wishing to depart at 12.00 noon a charge of £10 per person will be levied. There are no reductions for late arrival or early departures.
6 Fire regulations and the British Government (1st July 2007) dictate that all areas within the building are non-smoking. The patio is our designated area for smoking.
7. Breakfast is served between 8.30am and 9.15am (Unless notified differently) and clients are please asked to fill in the breakfast forms provided and placed in the bar before 7pm
8 CAR PARK: We have a small stack Car Park sufficient for all our rooms where residents are welcome to park at their own risk, early arrivals (before 2pm) and departures (after 10am) can park in the Mount Wise Car Park, a few minutes from The Croft or park in Mayfield Road. However, as spaces are at a premium if you require to use the Car Park you must leave your car keys in your room easily seen, if this is an issue we suggest you find alternative parking arrangements. Large transits or people carriers that take up more than 1 space per room cannot be parked.
