MEVAGISSEY
A small port town on the south coast of cornwall just minutes from St Austell. A pretty little town with much to see.
Be careful when you drive to the car park along ther sea wall it's a long way down.
While your in Mevagissey whyy not visit the Museum. The museum exhibits all the 18th century exhibits when it was used to cvonstruct and repair the vessels used for smuggling. It also shows life in Mevagissey from Apple Crushers and Cider Presses to an original horse-drawn, rotatry Barley Thresther and a greatly detailed Cornish Kitchen with a working cloam oven.
There is agreat numvber of photograpoghs depocting village life in the 19th and 20th century. I
It is open Easter until October 11 - 4 pm.
